A wide-straight utility pant inspired by the U.S. Marine Corps P-44 Utility Trousers from around 1944, commonly known as “Monkey Pants.”

The original military pants were built for function, usually made in rugged cotton fabrics such as sateen, twill, or ripstop. For this version, we reinterpreted that utilitarian design through a more refined lens, using suiting fabric typically found in tailored garments.

The silhouette is relaxed and easy, cut close to a wide-straight fit with a clean drape. The elastic waistband, drawcord, and buffalo buttons give the pants comfort and practicality, while the suiting fabric adds a polished feel that separates them from traditional military cargo pants.

Finished with an 8-pocket construction, including oversized side utility pockets with an additional pocket layered on top, the Alva Luxor Pants combine vintage military function with a modern, elevated look.
