I got it admit, I lied!!!

Last year at my exhibition, I told my buyers that this Long sleeve T-shirts were influenced from Nike Air Max 95’s coloring. I wasn't even thinking about it when I was designing this Tee. 

Because of the neon color trend, I used a little spice for this long sleeve T-shirts.

To tell you the truth, I kind of knew 5 years ago this neon color fashion trend will hit the market. One of the professional dyer, Mary from Paul Dyeing Company gave me this hint.

Honestly, I cannot see full neon color on Expansion Tee collections event though color trend changes every year.

Why Do you want to wear the same outfit as others?

展示会ではエア９５マックスのカラーリングからインスパイアされたと言いましたがデザインしている時はまるっきり考えていません。

ネオン色が流行っているので少しだけ差込で入れただけの話です。

5年前からネオン色が流行るとポロやCKのサンプル作るニュージャージーの老舗の染色屋の社長から勧められた。

でもいくら流行っていたとしてもEXPANSIONに全身ネオンカラーはあり得ない。 

何故皆と同じ格好をしたいのかな？

もし皆と同じ格好を追うなら #trend　で検索。

もし少し違う独創的な格好をしたいなら #expansionny で検索。

Proud to announce the collaboration with #1 famous Detroit donuts shop, "Dilla`s Delights". The shop opened in 2016 to honor the memory of hip hop artist J Dilla. Vetements, a French clothing Company that started the movement using unconnected collaborations (big names such as IKEA, DHL, and McDonald's) with apparel business. Due to their successful turn-out, it made a huge impact in the fashion business. I was inspired by their movements so I'd decided to do a similar concept movement which related to my back ground, the 90's HIP-HOP. On the morning of 9/3/2019, I'd reached out to Mr. Herman Hayes and had expressed my interest of doing a collaboration with him and he called back in the afternoon expressed his interest of working with me. Immediately, I'd booked a flight on my birthday,9/5 and flew to Detroit to see him. The entire process took 7 months and the products are finally out!!!

正直コラボとか面倒な事は興味無い。
しかし一人でもEXPANSIONを知っていただけるきっかけになるならと思いコラボをする。

I was scrolling down instagram. And found out that Actor John Leguizamo is wearing EXPANSION Base ball cap. I am a bit surprised.

One of a kind handmade embroidery made in USA. There are very few people who know how to use this machine today. It was a very popular form of embroidery in the 50's to the 70's. The handmade embroideries are commonly found on Bowling shirts, Varsity jackets, Car Club Jackets, and Biker Patches.

The Expansion pullover sweatshirts are assembled in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Expansion original heavyweight fleece fabric was sourced from North Carolina. This handmade embroidery (Chain stitch) was embroiled in New Jersey. All made in U.S.A.
